It really pays to remind ourselves frequently that this whole immigration "crisis" is made up out of whole cloth. There was no emergency,danger or problem, only a demagogue stirring up racist grievances for political advantage.

Is the racist video that Trump posted in anyway useful in fighting deportations? Can it be used in the courts to demonstrate that the ICE surges are about racism (which most people agree is the case) and not about enforcing immigration laws?

It's time for people in congress to care more about our country than their job.

Any real pushback by Democrats in congress could have prevented so much carnage. They are so worried about "governing" , the needs of real people are just an abstraction to them.

Even if ICE is still funded shut the government down until their money is clawed back and they are abolished. Any government that has an agency harming/killing people like they are needs to be shutdown.

The federal government should be shutdown until it empties its concentration camps, halts construction of more concentration camps and abolishes ICE. That is what is moral and right, politics be damned.

It’s kind of like when they do “vote for us because Trump is a dictator” and then “we will work with Trump on a bipartisan solution.”
