Like many holidays, Easter is sad for us because killing and eating animals is part of the holiday tradition for so many. Our Cinder was scheduled to be slaughtered and sold for Easter meat last year but was rescued and brought to us instead where he has been able to grow up with his mom, Coal.

Can confirm that my horse loved carrot cake for his birthday each year, but with none of that terrifying boy-killing fire on top.
