The data itself is questionable, for example the recent Minneapolis school shooter, who wrote neo-Nazi slogans like "Hail Breivik" and "Brenton 4 Ever" on their weapons, is considered "Left".

Letting AI do the job is secondary learning, like reading reviews but never primary articles. Gaining depth of understanding requires time spent. AI helps getting things out quickly, but it bypasses us with minimal learning effect, thus diminishing our creative thinking and conceptual understanding.

I visit FlyBase at least once a week, and I work on zebrafish!

I would not restrict to 'fly research', which may sound little important to the uninformed reader. FlyBase is the most elaborate, detailed and precise model organism data base we have and of use to many far beyond the Drosophila community - whilst being a role model setting helpful standards.

As it was once said: "We used to have fact-based policy, now we have policy-based facts". In history, states were usually strong when they were open to ideas, cultural influence and eager to learn. China is one of the few countries that seems to understand this - and they are winning big time!
