Oddly enough, in media coverage of Dems' video warning against carrying out illegal orders, there's very little discussion of *whether it's actually reasonable to fear Trump is giving illegal commands or not.* The evidence is strong that he is. Media should say so:

Why don't Dems offer to repeal ACA if it is replaced by Medicare for All? Medicare is viewed positively by most recipients, is efficiently run & would be easier to add Medicare for All to a system already in place than setting up a whole new system which may not work.

The correct answer to MAGA outrage over the Dem video is this: Are you effing kidding me? Of course it's reasonable to warn that Trump might be giving illegal orders. The evidence is strong that he actually is giving illegal orders! I went through that evidence here:

Democracy is about considering all voices and hashing out solutions that do not satisfy anyone's wishlist but provides something for everyone. Otherwise, politics is simply a game where one group dominates all others.

Conservatism at its core is about maintaining hierarchies... rich over poor, men over women, white over black, and so on. Some conservatives may try to soften this by acts of charity, but they don't concede that people in the less favored groups have enforceable rights. That's the core problem.
