When I worked in hotels, calling our local phone number - get this - made the phone ring at the front desk and it was MY JOB to answer that phone and help people. I want us to return to that world. It was more fun when we just helped each other and didn't try to avoid each other.

Oof feeling gloomy today. Really feel post WWII folks tried to setup things to stop that kind of thing happening again and it's just been slowly demolished in the decades since as just wasteful red-tape and all that, so here we are again...

I went down a rabbit hole. Looking at Google's search results, the individual film review of Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning that it's given the most prominence to isn't from a big outlet. It's from someone who appears to have written two movie reviews in their life.

Just found out about Youtube closing the RZX Archive channel; thousands of ZX Spectrum game walkthrough videos gone. From what I've read, the archive owner sadly passed away a while ago & either his family closed the account, or YT closed it due to inactivity. Either way, it's a genuine shame.

Very sad to learn that YouTube have removed RZX Archive's channel. Both our sites and various other Spectrum sites and gamers have shared those videos for many years. This take down is an even bigger problem since the owner of RZX Archive died a few years ago.
