So I started looking into this to outline the conspiracy theory. But what I found was a genuinely beautiful piece of practical idealism. A small, attainable progressive change that would hugely improve people's lives. I was inspired by it.

She never lived to see this moment, but it’s worth remembering that none of this would have happened without Virginia Giuffre. She had the courage to speak out against power and privilege when it was just her word against Andrew’s. Thanks to her, justice & accountability may finally have its day.

Two immigrants top relevant Sunday Times list for most UK tax paid, as "patriot" multi-billionaire Ratcliffe lives as an immigrant in Monaco, to protect wealth so vast it is unspendable, while whining about immigrant UK care workers and NHS cleaners not pulling their weight. FUCK RIGHT OFF, "SIR".

This is everything it should be - meticulously researched, deeply thought out, uncomfortably probing, scrupulously fair, AND ALSO outrageously entertaining. This is how progressives should tell stories. An hour flew by.

For a 30-year-old unreleased game, Dream sure had some fantastic songs 🤯 I used an original Dream midi for this rework, combining instruments from the BK font to get it closer to the original mix. How'd I do lads? Feeling nostalgic yet? 😆

incidentally think transphobes did something similar! spent so much time discussing the quasi-philosophical issue of What It Truly Means To Be A Woman, Deep Down when the issue should have mostly been "how are these very much already existing people meant to live in the world"

It's such a dumb ahistorical schoolyard jibe, but that's Trump. It's said he has never read a book. Not even the ones with his own name on them. This is a guy who once claimed that the Continental Army "took over the airports" during the Revolutionary War in 1776. He's very, very stupid.

Trump on NATO: "The problem with NATO is that we'll be there for them 100% but I'm not sure that they'd be there for us, if we gave them the call". We did get the call on 9/11. 26 NATO members sent troops to defend the US. Hundreds died doing so. It was the only time Article 5 has been activated.

Quite irritated by this Love Actually description about UK-US relations. It is not about having a tantrum in public then getting twatted for it. It's about taking concrete action to reduce UK dependency on a country which no longer respects us or shares our values.

Trump: "NATO has treated the United States very badly. We've never asked for anything. We've never got anything." Tell that to the families of 850 soldiers from 19 non-US NATO countries who died fighting to defend the United States in Afghanistan - the only occasion Article 5 was ever triggered.

The USA should not be able to participate in the world cup, let alone be part of hosting it, so yes I support those calling for a boycott. Sport, especially football, brings people together. That unity matters. We must ensure the President's actions do not go unchallenged.

The U.S Government is now threatening fellow NATO members with 10% tariffs, rising to 25% on 1st June, if we don’t hand Greenland to the mad Emperor in the White House. I wonder if most Americans even know this is happening? Under no circumstances should we cave to this economic warfare.
