The most depressing thing about this article, which confirms that denying airborne spread of covid was completely wrong, is that this article is 5 YEARS old. And yet doctors *still* won't wear respirators. It also must be acknowledged that more than 400,000 people had died by then, just in America.

Something that burns me, still, every time I think about it: As soon as it became clear that COVID was mostly killing demographics we think of as the least economically productive, this country abandoned efforts to control its spread—under the guise of being “realistic” and recognizing trade-offs.

You know what can contribute to latent TB activation? Weakened immune systems like, say, if we let an unchecked immune-weakening virus repeatedly pummel school kids. N95 masks and cleaning the air would help a lot but those are Not Allowed because why address a problem when you can ✨ignore✨ it? /s

Yes, things certainly don't make sense when the government is telling you a disease is spreading through so-called "droplets", when transmission patterns indicate that it is in fact spreading through aerosols (airborne spread).

Where there are droplets there is aerosol. The evidence for COVID being airborne is overwhelming + has been for ages. The UK COVID Inquiry has now also said it plainly. There’s a lot to do about it that has been blocked by nonsense because leaders didn’t want to be wrong. Can we move along now?

Seriously though. Spring break is here, & airports & airplanes are full of people coming from all over, including people who know they’re sick but didn’t want to cancel their trip, needed to get home ASAP, etc. Even if you don’t wear masks anywhere else, you should really consider wearing them here.

In addition to the content of the Module 3 report itself, the evidence it links to is deeply damning of infection control decisions. For example, this document dated April 14th, 2020 highlighted the potential for airborne transmission even then.

Similarly sections 1.56 - 1.58 find a "failure to appreciate and guard against the risk" and that today's clinical infection control paradigms based on droplet as distinct from aerosol transmission "were and are wrong" and "should no longer be relied on".

Sometimes I wonder about the police officer who in 2011 left a voicemail after I gave up waiting to meet him in person to report that a man sexually assaulted me. I wonder, after I didn't return his call, whether he ever gave me a second thought. I'm guessing probably not.

🎯 We will be hearing about the magical “close contact” + “droplet-only” spread where public health usually refuses to acknowledge what every person does + what happens many times in that close contact space: 🌈✨breathing that necessarily generates aerosol✨🌈 If you need to hear it from the WHO:
