Twitter pays people based on engagement (views, retweets, comments, etc). It appears that many MAGA accounts are based abroad and they use AI technology to generate low-effort rage bait. My guess is that this will get worse as AI tech improves. For instance, fake videos of minorities doing crime.

At events I've been getting more and more people asking if I really drew all my art, asking HOW I drew it, etc. It feels like the assumption that artists push the 'computer, draw!' button to make digital art has worsened, and I keep find myself overexplaining how a drawing tablet works akskdjjcjs

Using ai for reference is one way to legitimise it but also will make you worse in time. If you care about the art you make you should care about what influences it and where your ideas come from. The world is massive with tens of thousands of years of art and culture and history you can learn about
