I’m ecstatic with how the stone spray-paint turned out! I’m nervous about hand-painting it next, as I have far less experience with that than spray-painting. I just have to remind myself that this was intended to be a proof-of-concept despite how well it’s turning out. 👀

Bowser’s Keep—printed from a 3D model ripped from the 2023 Switch port of Super Mario RPG! I plan to paint it next. Later I’m going to make a few tweaks to the 3D model and have another go at it, but this project has already exceeded my expectations. 🥲

Omg it’s done printing. Now the hard part—attempting to remove the supports without destroying Exor 😅😅😅

My gaming bookshelf was in dire need of reorganizing. I actually purged quite a bit—mostly mostly magazines, some strategy guides too, but I was able to make room for my loose Gameboy rack, Zelda handhelds and some beautiful books that were previously tucked away somewhere else.

After printing all night, Bowser’s Keep is past the halfway mark! (On a future print I’d like to smooth out some of the polygons, I’ll have to learn how to do that in blender.)

I found ripped 3D models from the Switch version of Super Mario RPG, so naturally, I’ll be 3D printing a big-ass Bowser’s Keep. Wish me luck!

We captured video of this giant raccoon chasing bugs (or something?) outside my wife’s chicken coop last night. It’s cute, but it’s a chicken killer! We’ve lost two recently that didn’t go home overnight. Our backyard is fenced in, but I’m guessing it can just climb over.

With that shelf out of the way these GameCube/Wii racks really pop. I think I need to re-think that shelf that was below it. I’ve got four more of these racks in the closet, I should paint them wii-u-case-blue to hold Wii/Wii-U games (they were all originally bright green, I painted them purple)

I finally have 100% completed my @cosam-the-great.bsky.social Sega Neptune build. I got an excellent 3D print of DVIZIX’s shell and some decals. I’m really happy with how this turned out and it is really fun playing on a Sega console that I built. Def got some childhood wish fulfillment going here.

Has anyone heard if Square Enix will offer an upgrade/patch for Dragon Quest 1&2 for better performance on S2? Initially they said they wouldn't but then they dropped a patch for DQ3, so I was hopeful they'd patch DQ 1&2 as well.

I really want to play this and pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition directly from Atari but haven't received a shipping notification yet. I just looked and apparently the physical copies don't ship until December 12th? Being a fan of physical games these days is rough. 😩
