I love all of these observations. Hell, I wrote a story this year that was just a set of instructions repeated over and over with variations, and it's my second- or third-most-popular fic of the year (depending on which stat you look at). Your story just needs to be enjoyable to read. Period.

And the number 1 figure this year is... 1. Metal Cardbot Blastrain - Holy moly WHAT a robot. Feels incredible. Looks BEAUTIFUL. Clicky joints. Combines like a dream.. I can't wait til Metal Cardbot comes to the USA (officially). Figures like this will give Hasbro a run for it's money.

LRP: I really gotta get back on finishing my IDW2019 reviews and worldbuilding roundups. There are so many excellent details hidden in the text and images, things that a fic writer or artist can pick up and run with.

The 2019 IDW run might honestly be my favorite depiction of Cybertron society and the not-on-Earth Transformers in general. Ruckley makes Cybertron's fall feel like an actual genuine loss of something flawed but wonderous, a society well on its way to greatness cut down from within.

I started TF1 Bumblebee a couple of days ago, and today's goal is getting him done.

This is a really good point that I had not run into before: these "creators" have no further insight into their alleged creation than the average audience member and that is why it cannot be called art (besides all the other obvious reasons).
