Major update. Momo will be seeing a specialist tomorrow the county over, where he will need to stay overnight either tonight or tomorrow night. it's going to cost me an additional $5000 on top of the $3,300 that I've already paid, but the local vets are stumped. Anything helps, please share.

He improved, but not a lot, so he needs to be kept for another night. This won't be cheap, but I don't want him to end up experiencing kidney or heart failure bc he went home. The cardiology consult is happening right now, but I am anticipating another $2,200 for another night in the hospital. ☹️☹️☹️

I got a call from the overnight doctor and Momo ate more, he's headbutting all the nurses, and he was put in the cone of shame at 3 am for eating a new string (his own IV 😭). He is hopefully on the mend. They're gonna try to fit in the cardiology exam and check his kidneys again. Anything helps!
