Hi Friends ! Not giving a lot of news through being extremely busy in law school and working on commissions on the side Things are going so so well though: getting good marks from the get-go, people in my environmental law masters are GEMS and I love being in my element so much again

Was dealing with a big bout of social anxiety while being sick at home but had my uni friends show up to send over all the lectures I am missing and go off about how they want me to come back soon and that they miss me in class

Guys I had been grinding with bronchitis and sinusitis for a week and a half at this point wonder I felt so ass 💀 Tested negative for covid though thank god

A bit of hopium I experienced too recently is meeting cis men that are younger than me, but are very much progressive, and are very resistant to right wing radicalisation I know there is a bias with environmental law, but we have a public law gang overall, and they are not reactionaries

Another moment of « the kids alright » this week I dropped a Disco Elysium reference stupidly for literally no reason and one of the guys I met next to us actually went « oh my god wait are you also a Disco Elysium fan »

A moment I had of “the kids are alright” was seeing how many students in my promotion also have a lot of tattoos, including very visible ones Back when I first studied it was considerably rarer, when it’s only been a few years — now the taboo seems to have lifted entirely

I have this huge choice paralysis when it comes to what I’ll do later professionally after getting my degree Mountains ? Coasts ? Forests ? Clean energy ? Responsible and green urban development/redevelopment ? Heading up to international echelons for preserving the environment ? Help
