The main reasons you dont know hardly any AAA craft-level game makers names is because the machines that make money from those people don’t want to give any visionaries on the team camera time in case they want to fire them to save money. And the smaller game makers hate doing press

honestly we should know the names of the people who consistently bring quality up for their colleagues, but instead AAA just burns em out and refuses to let them show their corners of the game as if they have any ownership over it. no dev is fungible in any sense. devs are irreplaceable.
