it’s an awkward double bind because obviously there’s a huge amount of existent videogames that would interest people but the coverage of them is kept largely to the sidelines, and when it isn’t is still largely tied to hype cycle/awards stuff.

something that bothers me is that game markets that target like 50 & 60 plus demographics (the people with the MOST disposable income who are buying tank, lifestyle and farm style sims like crazy bc they’re the only games that market to them) have been completely abandoned on the innovation front

Anyway, saw someone recommend listening to something on a higher speed because it was a bit slow and I still have no idea how you can do this and not go mad at how wrong it is. Not my cat occasionally parks their arse on the lappy and sets the speed on VLC faster and it freaks me out.
