I never thought I could sing, started taking vocal lessons a couple months ago. My spouse began to learn how to play a hurdy gurdy last year. These are skills you just have to be interested enough to want to learn. It will also increase your enjoyment of experiencing art and music!

I wish people who believed that in the civil rights movement, nothing could be blamed on the protesters would read what was actually said about the protesters in the civil rights movement.

A few years ago an ex tried to talk down to me about non-violence, so I reminded him about the time he got his nose broken by starting a fight with strangers multiple times for no reason, and how I put myself between them when he pulled a knife on our roommate at a party. Some will NEVER get it.
