Update from Reed Showalter, who's at Broadview "The Cook County Sheriff claims that they searched the facility and that Naqvi is not there. They also have no record that her phone is there. But there has been no actual search for her phone within the Broadview ICE Detention Center."

Cook County is now reporting more as a percentage of 2024 votes than both the state as a whole and the city of Chicago. This could be REALLY good for Biss if this trend keeps up. In the second image you will see that Cook County is just racing up in turnout.

Today in Chicago: 3,788 new IPEV and 3,335 new mail ballots for a total of 7,123 new votes today. IPEV on the equivalent day in 2018 is higher than 2016 for the 4th day in a row and the 10th day overall.

Yesterday in Chicago we added 3,983 IPEV and 2,632 Mail votes for a total of 6,615 new ballots total. For the 3rd day in a row 2018 IPEV exceeds the 2026 figure. Solid chance that 2018 surpasses the 2026 cumulative total by Monday I feel.

We literally got the statewide update before we got the city update! From the state wide update I can see about 2200 early in person votes and about 2900 mail ballots counted but until @chicagoelection.bsky.social updates the totals I can't see how it compares historically.

Number of donors does not give you an indication of who is leading. If that were true then Bernie Sanders would have been the nominee in both 2016 and 2020. I will always wait for a poll rather than look at number of donors.
