This is really sound advice for progressives. If someone with a (D) after their name makes a statement that is against human rights, call them out for breaking with the party. Be loud that the party supports trans rights, immigrant rights, etc, even if you don’t totally believe that the electeds do.

The best way to keep elected Dems from weakening on trans rights is to highlight and attack individual cases of defection, and part of that is identifying it as those individuals breaking with the party rather than them being pebbles presaging an avalanche

Aside from point #1, this is literally the opposite of what they should do.
