99.9% of sci-fi fiction is about the dystopian future technology brings and the media loves to quote them to evoke emotion. I understand it’s hard to write an interesting story with a utopian future, but ending up there are tons more available to reference for any blunders.

The reason I like the potential of AI for code is that code contains redundant information by necessity or desire (eg code has tests, types, etc.). Text has none of this. Instead of using LLMs to write text, just give me the prompt directly. Unsummarization into natural language is worthless

One benefit of depth is that it is relatively easy to simulate compared to RGB data. Less concern about lighting, reflections, etc.
