The people of Minnesota defeated ICE's invasion. Bovino losing his job is an enormous win for the people: it shows others in the regime they could actually face consequences if they alienate enough popular support. The movement deserves to claim these kinds of huge wins!

The interesting thing about the TN-07 vote is that Van Epps doesn’t seem like a terrible candidate—the 15 point swing in favor of Democrats isn’t primarily a candidate effect. If 2026 is anything close to a +15 environment for Democrats, it’s going to be the biggest wave election in a long time.

The reason this was a serious race in the first place is @aftynbehn.bsky.social and the people-powered movement she built. The result of this overperformance: a lot of Republicans in so-called "safe seats" are scared tonight, and Trump's redistricting push will take another huge hit.

I was at the the No Kings march in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Many elderly or disabled folks who couldn’t make it to Manhattan, but also young families and people of all ages. I stood in the same spot for more than an hour and the stream of protesters was constant. Amazing turnout.
