Oil up by $12 a barrel in less than 12 hours. Gas prices skyrocketing. Almost 100,000 jobs lost last month. Another war in the Middle East. Are we great again yet?

The arrest of Don Lemon is textbook fascism—a brazen attempt to silence reporting on a criminal regime. Stand up for Don, because our rights stand and fall with those of courageous journalists throughout this country.

"Signficant" snow risk Sunday according to the National Weather Service. NWS has a helpful threat assessment page for evaluating the risk of different weather hazards. There's still 5 to 6 days until this storm arrives, but the "potential" (not guarantee) for a major winter storm is on the table.

We hear a lot of talk about “freedom” from my Republican colleagues. And yet these same Republicans are working overtime to deny tens of millions of women the basic freedom to control their own bodies. That is wrong, and it represents a fundamental betrayal of what freedom is about.

Trump campaigned on an “America First” platform. Now he wants to "run" Venezuela? 60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck. Health care is collapsing. Housing is unaffordable. Trump should address these major crises at home and end his illegal military adventurism abroad.
