Lmaoooo so we’re in the Gaylord at National Harbor for #MAGFest and our toilet and shower have been gurgling all night and all day. Ends up they have been filling with water that is backing up through the system, then draining. We’ve called /someone/? and are waiting to see what happens.

Good news! The $900 issue has been resolved and we owe nothing - yay! Bad news: what in the ever loving fuck is going on with this country. What the fucking hell.

Let me tell you, 2025 wanted to make sure it went out screaming in our house. I apparently make too much money on my own for us to qualify for Medicaid. So we have to stick with our current insurance that now has a higher rate. And we owe them $900 just for fun?? And we have no idea why???

I feel like my life has become similar to how things were before the internet - not checking up on social media, not watching any cable television. And then I peek in after a week or two and get slammed with the emotional rollercoasters of everyone living vastly different lives.

Going to be candid here and say I am super bothered by the smell coming out of the water in our shower/bathroom. I’ve cleaned the drains, cleaned the areas, even soaked the shower head. No idea how only the shower water is making this smell. We’re in an apartment, so only so much I can do.
