Does anyone have connections to an IMMEDIATE, safe place to stay starting TUESDAY, June 20, ideally as long as possible. I'm unhoused and have limited funds. The perhaps catch tho is I have 2 cats. (One is an ESA) Anywhere in MA helps, even though one of my disabilities doesn't allow me to drive.

I can't trust politicians who are anti-trans. Not because I'm "only searching for perfection" which is what centrists will be accusing me of for the rest of my life, it's because if you're not pro-trans you'll be garbage on lots of other issues too. Being anti-trans NEVER exists in a vacuum.

Senate Democrats absolutely have to shut the govt down to stop this ICE insanity in the Twin Cities. This is not sustainable & cannot be normalized. Any Democratic vote to provide money to the thugs who are brutalizing this community is a grave betrayal to the people here. Accountability can't wait.

Blanket bans on trans youth in sports have never been about fairness or science or protecting girls' sports. They are entirely about alleviating the discomfort of bigots who don't want trans youth on sports teams or anywhere else in the public square. That's all they are.

ICE is a domestic terrorist organization that has invaded our cities, assaulted immigrants & thrown our neighbors into concentration camps. ICE executed Renee Nicole Good in broad daylight. Any legislator who doesnāt immediately move to abolish ICE is a traitor who sold out their country to fascism

āitās reasonable to ask questions about trans girls in sportsā was always intended to mainstream transphobia. Itās absurd that people fell for it. Democrats are constantly letting oppressors set the terms of debate instead of just saying āno, fuck you.ā

You're high off the No Kings demonstration but don't know what to do next? Decolonize your mind. Practice active anti-racism. Talk to your friends about how you can commit concrete acts that dismantle white supremacy. Think about how you interact with Black people. Unpack your internal biases.

I really need people to understand that refusing to seat fascists is an antifascist act that protects democracy & is not the same as fascists refusing to seat antifascists to destroy democracyāin the same way that finding a guilty person guilty isn't the same as finding an innocent person guilty.

Transgender Ideology: āPlease let me live in peace.ā Antifascist Ideology: āFascism is bad, okay?ā Seems uncomplicated, but they still muddy it all up with hate and fear.

reposted this today because the inverse is also true: if you abandon trans people right now, you are abandoning civil rights period. if you can't stand up for trans people when it matters, no one should, or will, ever trust you when the bullseye moves to the next target.

There is not one marginalized, racialized, or oppressed group whose oppression or destruction is an acceptable cost for saving "democracy." Not one. If saving democracy requires leaving marginalized people behind, that's not a democracy worth saving. Either we all get saved or none of us do.

People participating in mass protests do not have to DO anything violent to be perceived as a threat by the state becauseāfrom the perspective of the stateāa unified mass presence IS the threat. State violence in response is often disproportionate because itās a reassertion of dominance and power.
