As a kid, crank calling was a skill I enjoyed honing. It involved voice acting, improv, craftiness, and a sense of comedy. The bad news is, the 5060 PC did NOT like the salvaged RAM sticks I found. Sad that I'm stuck on 16GB until the memory pricing surge ends.

The good news is, my ancient Linux PC has no problems with the 1070. I'm working on my streaming setup, to divide the processing load between the PC with the 5060, and the PC with the 1070. The former will play the games, and the latter will do everything else.

I refuse to invest money in a gamer mouse. I have been using the same wireless HP optical mouse since college 12 years ago. Works fine. I don't need RGB lights, a numpad's worth of buttons on the side, Bluetooth, 20 freaking million DPI, or something that looks like a very-not-ergonomic spaceship.
