I wish the Mission Impossible Reckoning movies had left in the de-aged back story stuff. It might be nice to understand the villain’s antipathy towards the hero, and more broadly why we should give a shit about this inexplicably magic bad guy - or Hunt’s entire alluded-to past.

I do know AI is useful for some people. Great. I get that. But when someone says, “I don’t like it” and you say, “Fuck you, eat it all,” you’re not really making a case that it’s actually something the other person would in fact like if they just gave it a chance.

Facebook seems to be hitting new heights of unusability for me. I’ve never had this many irrelevant ads (trying to hide them is like beheading a Hydra) and every other group post is a sodding AI meme.

Transphobia is no more "acceptable" than any other form of bigotry, and I continue to be absolutely astounded, shocked, and revolted that otherwise "liberal" people think otherwise. What do they want transgender people to do? Hide away? Pretend they don't exist?

When Clive Barker was working on the MUMMY remake for Universal in the early '90s, he had a trans character in the script, and when the studio vetoed it, he basically said "I really can't stress how much I don't need to fucking make THE MUMMY" and left.

Well if nothing else the last few years have been a really good advert for not hoarding wealth, considering how much misery is happening specifically because of about half a dozen fuckawful billionaires.

RTD knows how to do a peppy, frothy series opener and this was another one. I liked Belinda. I sort of wish RTD would investigate other sorts of series openers. #TheRobotRevolution
