between angeās payout, frankās salary and payout, de zerbiās sign-on bonus, salary and eventual payout, the club will spend over Ā£100m to just bring āangeballā back, with a manager who the majority of the fanbase despises, instead of continuing with the one who had just won us a trophy.

I know there is a lot of Ange fans on here so here's his first interview with Australian media since the Spurs sacking. Aired this morning and goes for 32 minutes long.

Also, this is an excellent reminder that the NYT put him, an internet troll, in an editorial position at The Athletic. Just in case you'd like a measure of the level of thinking happening at the NYT.

A thought for you all. A less experienced manager, one less comfortable in his own skin, would have been totally broken by this season. Nervous breakdown time. Having the self belief to hold the CBs back as he did was astonishing. But hey, we might even have finished top half despite the injuries.

Spurs aggregator accounts be like: If ANGE wins THE EUROPA LEAGUE TROPHY would you STILL want him and his whole family to DIE? Does he still deserve to be called a FAT CUNT?

listening to TTW and what's this narrative that i have heard a few times now that Ange is the instigator of the tension with the fans? The rabid abuse he copped from away end at Bournemouth after he came to acknowledge them just 1 example of some fans being the instigators

The manager being toxic? Is it his fault when at away games when he goes over to acknowledge the away support he gets called a fat Aussie cunt? Don't think it's Ange bringing the toxicity.

the invocation of the moral import of the away fans, as if they are a holy group elevated in worth beyond the 'regular' fan and thus somehow owed reverence while being immune from critique, is fascinating to me as a scholar of religion.

A ānoble deathā seems inevitable for Postecoglou at Tottenham
It speaks to the dark, oppressive cloud of negativity that has settled over Spurs that most people seem to have totally discounted any possibility that they could still win a European trophy.

Don't go to many away games, but stunned by the level of racism from some Spurs fans at Fulham today. People behind me singing about hanging, shouting they hope certain players die of aids, and then racist remarks about our own players, including Son. It was so brazen

There's a reason Spurs are always among the favourites for the UEL but have never gone past the 1/4s. They underestimate teams like AZ and get burned. They go hard in the PL and get knackered. Ange ditching the league makes perfect sense
