In the four years I've been at IGN I've watched its staff shrink and shrink, all while those who remain are asked to do more and more. I see colleagues skip lunch, stay late day after day, and burn out. IGN staff are passionate and love their work. But we can't keep letting that be exploited.

this is what got me into zines and keeps me going. I struggle with perfectionism a LOT and it ruined my creative process for a long time. I couldn't make myself make anything bc I was so afraid of it looking like I made it. zines changed all that for me.

Self-publishing is a power, it's a gift. You can put whatever you want into your little 'zines and minicomics, absolutely nobody can tell you no. Tell your story, don't worry if it's "good enough", make it anyway.
