I’m not sure that a 21-minute run-on sentence that primarily displayed Trump’s difficulty reading is what Republicans wanted or needed out of that.

Trump has had fewer events this year than in any other year of his presidency. This of course means shaking fewer hands, but let’s also use common sense: have you ever known anyone to have to bandage their hands as a result of handshaking?

Noem claimed at her hearing today that the administration’s strikes on alleged drug boats have taken out enough cocaine to kill 177 million people. She then concluded this saved 177m American lives — as if 2/3 of the entire country are active cocaine users. Just a tortured manipulation.

It cannot be *both* *still* Biden’s fault that the economy isn’t great for working people and that there is no affordability crisis. Regardless, Republican messaging can’t compete with reality. Things are more expensive. Americans know it. With each passing day, Trump owns that more and more.

What this means is that they’ll prioritize taxpayer spending on Christian-based crisis pregnancy centers, which have proliferated as maternal mortality rates have risen.

It can never be said enough how unserious all of these people are. They shouldn’t be running an HOA, let alone the country.

Like QAnon, the election denial movement cannot exist if it ever finds the smoking gun of the 2020 election. Therefore, the evidence must always be just over the horizon — a movement that feeds off itself to live.

First, the strike was so good and legal they immediately shared video. Then, Hegseth wasn’t there/didn’t know about survivors. Then, “sure we’ll release the second video.” Now, no, we won’t release the video but the strike was totally fine. Also it was up to “them.”

How long until a single reporter actually presses the White House on the exact reason for these bandages?

One of the many thing that I feel has been lost in the chaotic shuffle of the Sept. 2 attack: The DoD released the video of the vessel in motion, then the first strike. Only now are we learning that there is video of the second strike that killed the two survivors.

Personally, I don’t think it’s great that the awakening factor comes when he’s presented with an opportunity to do racist stuff.

By this logic, freeing Juan Orlando Hernandez from prison for his drug trafficking conviction just killed thousands of Americans.

These anonymous sources were actually MAGA types who leaked the info to an extremely Trump-friendly NY Post reporter.

Alex Horton, one of the two Washington Post reporters who broke the story, has been a participant in more violent combat than Pete Hegseth by an order of magnitude. It's not a coincidence that he got the scoop.

Hegseth — with an eye-twitch tell as he thought very carefully about his answer — says he "personally didn't see any survivors" in the Sept. 2 strike. Then says it was the "fog of war," which pampered journalists wouldn't understand.

Ah, yes, undocumented immigrants: the uber-wealthy cash buyers of homes and/or those who are able to easily secure home loans.

As his cabinet members take turns sucking up to him, Trump is desperately trying to stay awake.

Regardless of whether it was legal, regardless of who gave the order, regardless of who pulled the trigger, regardless of who the targets were — imagine the moral depravity it takes to fire on helpless people floating in a destroyed vessel in the sea.

Eventually they’re going to run out of people to deport and will have to explain to their supporters why all their lives aren’t automatically better. Desperation is setting in.
