The failure of our elites to hold Trump accountable for January 6th is as disgraceful as what happened on that awful day. Since 2010, 35 democratic leaders around the world have been criminally convicted. Only Trump went unpunished and unconstrained. Now he threatens democracy at home and abroad.

The thing is, if this is the policy then why would any therapist join their network? They can make a ton more money outside of it. It doesn't pass the smell test. We'll see.

Fwiw, the same day I left the nyt in mid-2024, another trans journalist left as well. They worked within the system to call attention to the nyt bias but had no success. Absolutely. The nyt has a long record of driving out trans journalists who dare to raise questions about its bias. The journalist @translash.org and @imarajones.bsky.social featured in this report was a rising star who tried mightily to work for change within the system. Please give this a listen

My position on impeachment is the same as it was six months ago: Impeachment is first about driving public attention to Trump’s crimes and corruption. Democrats should introduce impeachment articles and force votes to boost their parallel media effort. Performative public investigations matter.
