Did my usual Portland/San Francisco trip yesterday, third year in a row doing it in an EV (Ioniq 5). Went super smoothly; the charging infrastructure along I-5 is _noticeably_ better than even just a year ago. New stations with more plugs, no de-rated stations, all just super smooth.

Whoa, Congress passed the EXPLORE act! This is super good news for anyone who uses public lands! It funds long-distance bike routes, protects bolting climbing routes in wilderness areas, expands Ever Kid In A Park, and more. I didn’t think it was gonna happen, yay hooray!

Man-in-the-middle attacks on Public WiFi networks haven't been a realistic threat in a decade. Almost all websites use encryption by default, and anything of value uses HSTS to prevent attackers from downgrading / disabling encryption. It's a non issue.
