This weekend I climbed the North Ridge on Kit Carson (with a descent over Challenger Point) and Crestone Needle. I’ve thought about these climbs for years and they lived up to all the hopes and fears I had for them. They also take me to the halfway point in climbing Colorado’s 14ers (29/58).
