I always appreciate the admission of wrongdoing implicit in every attempt to create a fake process to cover-up AI use. They know it sucks! They just really had the hubris to think they could that they could skate by with it.

Lots of hard, shitty lessons being learned from this presidency. And one of the many I hope you're learning is, white supremacy is incompatible with reality, and cannot exist without historical revisionism.

Daily DBZ 162-2. The smoke clears (I'd imagine hours later). And hey look, it did get him! Dang, melted half his body off. Awesome, Vegeta wins! LOL just kidding, he grows it all back then beats the snot out of Vegeta.

Daily DBZ 162. Vegeta is shocked that his hubris could possibly be a character flaw. No way Cell is more powerful than him. Vegeta summons an unimaginable amount of energy and it gets real scary and lightningy, releasing the devastating Final Flash attack that punches into deep space. Holy moly!

Daily DBZ 161-2. Goku and Gohan continue their training. Encouraged, Goku feels it won't be long before Gohan surpasses him. Aw and look Gohan got a haircut, just in case there might be a transformation that makes your hair grow really long in the future it won't be confusing.

Daily DBZ 161. Vegeta (oh he's calling himself Super Vegeta now) gets his wish to fight Cell in his perfect form. Cell spends the whole episode easily dodging out of the way and smirking. After a full power kick to the neck, Cell completely no-sells it and leaves Vegeta regretting his actions.

Daily DBZ 160-2. The world-shaking energy wave subsides. Cell has achieved his perfect form.! Marveling at his new body, Cell pays no attention to his enemies. Krillin and Trunks go all out on him, but he hardly notices until Krillin's unstoppable Kienzan shatters on Cell's neck. GULP!

Daily DBZ 160. Months into their training in the Room of Space and Time, Gohan dishes that Piccolo said Goku would be a terrible teacher, getting Goku riled up enough to go Super Saiyan and blast out a Kamehameha. This gives Gohan the fuel he needs to go Super Saiyan and block the attack. He did it!

Daily DBZ 158-2. While Trunks tries to stop Cell from leaving, Krillin has snuck up on Android 18 with the shutdown remote. But looking at her, a hot girl who gave him a kiss once, he can’t go through with it and smashes the remote. And its at that exact moment that Cell spots 18. Great.

Daily DBZ 158. With Cell fully cooked, he throws a big pouty fit screaming about how he’d win if only he'd been able reach his perfect form. Interested, Vegeta stops clobbering Cell and lets him go find 18 so Vegeta can finally have a good fight. Trunks, watching the whole thing, is like wtf.

Daily DBZ 157. Cell attempts to throw Vegeta’s signature Galick Gun at Vegeta and completely humiliates himself. Then, Vegeta just absolutely spends the rest of the episode beating Cell’s ass on the ground, in the sky, and under water. Argh, If only Cell could achieve his perfect form.

Daily DBZ 156-2. Goku teaches Gohan the secret to going Super Saiyan is just to get super pissed off (which we’ve seen Gohan do countless times, so like wtf). Gohan recounts the entire Frieza Saga in his head and goes Super Saiyan for like one whole second before losing it. Keep it up little man!

Daily DBZ 156. While Vegeta continues to wail on Cell, nearby Android 16 and 18 stay out of site. A few forest creatures gather around 16 and he shields them from the immense battle.

Daily DBZ 155-2. Cell has destroyed every island in the area except the one Android 16 and 18 are hiding on, what luck! Before he can blast the final island, Vegeta arrives ready to rumble and boy does he look beefed up. Has he surpassed Super Saiyan limits?

Daily DBZ 155. Goku and Gohan take their turn in the Room of Spirit and Time. One step in, the increased gravity, heat, and thin air takes all the confidence out of Gohan. He's holding his dad back. But Goku's got a dad pep talk for him. He needs Gohan to become a Super Saiyan and even surpass him.

turns out that the DBZ-style tense-and-release "powering up" that I used to do back in the day in TKD class actually does find and release tension in the body and mind, making it easier to perform athletic mind-tasks like martial arts more effectively weird how that works

This reminded me of that Dragon Ball theme park they announced in 2024, which was supposed to be built right next to an unfinished Six Flags Park that was announced in 2016.

Daily DBZ 159. Vegeta will not abide his son's defiance in trying to stop Cell. A true Saiyan would want to fight the strongest oponent possible. But Trunks has seen his entire world burned to ash, so he unloads on Vegeta and blasts him into the sky.

Daily DBZ 159-2. Trunks stands up to Cell, but once again he deploys Tien’s Taiyoken and blinds Trunks. Krillin, Android 16, and 18 go all out to mount a final defense against the monster, but in a flash, Cell’s tail sproings out and gulps down Android 18. It looks a little too icky for me to draw.

Daily DBZ 159-3. Well everyone, that’s the ball game. Cell erupts in a massive burst of energy. Nothing Trunks can throw at him does a thing as he surrounds himself with some kind of barrier. The sky darkens and the Earth shakes as Cell is about to transform into his perfect form. Eep!

Every time I have watched GT, I think "It couldn't have been as bad as I remembered it, right? I should give it another chance." Then it turns out to be *worse* than I remembered. No one *told* me it was bad, I figured that out all on my own. I can tell when I don't like something.
