What's particularly heartwrenching is the "ordinariness" of all of this. Just a regular person trying to support others who was murdered by a gatekeeper of the state. A regular and ordinary occurrence in the U.S. unfortunately.

ICE is able to track any phone without a warrant or subpoena because this system does not rely on cell-tower signals, but on "voluntarily disclosed" information from all sorts of apps you've given location permissions to. Ever wondered why an app needs your location? To sell it, of course.

A few people still keep stingless bees! But there's a reason most beekeepers would rather deal with full-on venom & stingers than these little guys. There's a lot of wide-open space between "nonviolence" and "lie down & take it," and boy does it have a way of getting filled.
