Tagabow in Whelans tonight were class. First time I've seen a band play with the drummer on the stage and the band playing in front of him in a circle. Great if you had a good vantage point like myself.

What a wildly stupid idea. Mandatory helmets and high viz is a proven remedy to reduce the number of people cycling. It effectively kills off things like Dublin Bikes. That's why no other EU country does anything like this. Pure madness.

Once again, Niamh Smyth absolutely leading in not shirking the responsibilities of her portfolio. Rare I offer praise for any Minister but when her colleagues have equivocated on what's happened and what needs to happen, she has very strongly called it straight so far and hasn't bent to pressure.
