Go read what Rowling said instead of giving credit to the bleatings of a woman who hasn't had a decent acting job since Potter. You're backing the wrong horse. Most people don't believe people can change sex and we don't have to be kind about it.

The discussion about Emma Watson has raked up a lot of lies about JK Rowling. Lies that most of all point to the fact that most of these people never really read Rowlings essay or listened to the podcast: "the witch trials". James Dreyfuss says it best:

Your regular reminder that gender neutral toilets are perfectly legal and in operation in a huge number of businesses, including coffee shops, restaurants and on aeroplanes. This position is not changed by the EHRC guidance or the Supreme Court judgment. /1

The EHRC issues guidance on how to comply with the law. If this MP does not like the law then it is up to her to seek support to change it. Withdrawing accurate guidance on complying with the law serves nobody and is a shocking thing for an MP to call for.

The EHRC guidance cannot change the law. Any legally constituted female service provision or sport must exclude all males incl. those who identify as women and those with GRCs. So if you want to attempt to undo the legal rights women have fought for over decades you are in the right place to do so.

"One wrong move and you won’t just be excommunicated, you’ll be burnt at the digital stake, labelled a heretic faster than you can say “non-binary neopronouns.”" Truly good article about the Emma Watson situation. She may now get a glimmer of understanding about engendering hate and splashbacks.
