Increasingly, the only sane & kind place I visit is the vets. Noone tries to persuade me my pet is anything other than female or that she was born in the wrong body. The patients are delightful, my opinions are valued & the treatment is exemplary. The NHS could learn a lot.

Two weeks ago cat brought a woodmouse inside. I attempted a rescue but while I was distracted it disappeared. Left door open & assumed it had escaped. Just discovered it, happily wandering across the kitchen. So we had a guest for Xmas. Bloody useless cat.
