While we are on a music kick, lets listen to what ancient Persia sounded like around 1400 BC? Sarah Parsaei performs on the Arjan harp — a historic instrument with roots going back nearly 3,400 years — in Tehran, Iran.

I don't understand who this kind of bot is for. Why would I want to answer this question from a bot, for one. The answer is in initial post that started the chain, for two. I blocked, obviously, but it just baffles me that it exists.

I paid extra for white glove delivery 'cause I didn't want to haul two 117# boxes upstairs, but that message didn't get to the delivery company. But I really didn't want to deal with the unboxing mess after Raja gets home tomorrow with his mum, so I gave it a shot and now I feel invincible.

The end of this reminds me of the effects of raising jaguars with dog friends. Something unusual that catches people's attention makes others around them more attentive, even if not to the same thing. Having a chill dog friend makes high strung cats more chill. Dog friend isn't freaking out at that+

I have been supporting Meds ans Food for Kids for a long time, but lately most of my support had gone to mutual aid. Still, if you want to help hungry kids in Haiti, this is a good place for your dollars.

I made knox blox in a 9"x13" pyrex and dropped it on a cold tile floor while it was still hot. Glass and gelatin everywhere, which set immediately. The tiles were these weird 70s things with curved grout lines. I don't think it was all cleaned until we got a new refrigerator.

Out on a run and came across a couple having a break up. The woman yelled that the guy cared more about “his YouTube videos” than her. Fully expected it to be some Andrew Tate shit until he sheepishly said “trains mean so much to me but you’ve never understood that”

Just a friendly reminder. If the US had taken only a small fraction of the money and military equipment it has squandered fighting and losing to Iran, and instead helped Ukraine, the Middle East would be more stable and Russia would be facing defeat.

I used to hear people say that lotteries are taxes on people who don't understand math. I don't play the lottery, and I'm pretty good at math, and yet I don't quite agree with that sentiment... But I do think that anybody who defends billionaires doesn't understand math.
