I would like to see this sort of thing out of every Dem candidate for office it's not that hard to be a decent human being, it just isn't and I know the world is full of shitty assholes who will try to tear you down for it, but I really believe that it doesn't have to be a liability

Hey, when these AI-slop shows come out. Don't talk about them. Don't Watch them. Don't engage with them Hell don't even pirate them. Give THEM NOTHING. SHOW them we don't want it. When it releases, SCREAM and SHOW OFF about your favorite indie Show(s) instead!

Don't hate-watch these - a view is a view for streaming platforms. Ignore them, let them rot away with low engagement. It's one of the earlier tests to prove that people (hopefully) just do not want AI-generated animated shows. Shame on The Book of Life's creator for selling out too, what a blow.

it's destroying communities. not in the abstract "it's bad for the environment" sense, in the literally observable immediate sense. usage of it is tantamount to violence against your own neighbors, and it should be treated as the antisocial behavior that it actually is

actually i kinda *do* think using genAI should be such a social faux pas that the user is marked as a pariah and no longer feels welcome in the community. "AI is bad" is no longer an abstract (it never was), my city has been under a boil water advisory for a week because of AI data centers

it's actually true that you cannot fund good government entirely by taxing the rich, which is why slopulist proposals to gut the tax base are a bad idea but taxing the rich at punitive levels is a goal in and of itself, billionaires are simply too dangerous to public policy to exist

Bezos says that the US has one of the most progressive tax codes. This is true by some measures. But our tax and transfer system reduces inequality far less than countries with broader tax systems. Tax cuts can't help people who don't have an income, but a generous tax financed welfare state can.
