Watch the clip again. He puts his hands on the agent first. Again, that is not to defend the utterly uncalled-for shoulder check or say that the officers used the degree of roughness appropriate for the situation. But the clip *starting* with him being taken down IS a bit deceptive, is my point.

The worst hit in this video is the where a Border Patrol agent shoulder checks him out of nowhere. But in the interest of fairness, it is somewhat deceptive to start the clip with the takedown in the parking lot. One minute in, you can see the full context of him grappling with an agent before that.

At this point, any Democrat who votes to keep this government open without extracting very serious concessions — RFK’s resignation, ICE rollback, Epstein Files release, etc — will absolutely face a primary challenger who will set fundraising records.

My general belief is that Dems need to spend more time thinking about what they believe and less about what they think some imaginary swing voters want them to believe. Political strategy will stem from an authentic set of beliefs.
