My brother got me the crystal display lego set for Christmas so I put it together today! Left to right, top to bottom, it's pyrite, watermelon tourmaline, amethyst geode, rhodochrosite (a mineral that was critical to my master's thesis!), fluorite, and orange quartz.

So I have a job site that's a fenced off lot in a very built-up section of town, and the amount of random things I find thrown over the fence of the lot is as staggering as the items are perplexing. Today I found a pair of (well worn) crocs and a handwritten thank you card from a baby shower.

Not to brag, but I won the company sweets day today. Brownies from scratch aren't trivial but completely worth it. I'm not sure the gochujang caramel cookies were as big of a hit, but I liked them.
