A vehicle that can hold dozens of passengers, running regularly along a fixed route, with predetermined stops…I can’t believe nobody has thought of this before. What should we call this ingenious marvel?

Brightline under-reported truth in 3…2…1… The company has not had trouble attracting riders. March was its highest ridership month ever. It’s because it’s saddled with capital debit from building the operation. Debt that is normally assumed by the government for public passenger rail.

The problem is this post-Moses trend in treating the "community" as if it's monolithic and knows more about transportation planning than the experts. We as a society can say "more transit good, road expansion bad" and ask locals to weigh in on where staircases go, not "should this even happen?"

Constitutional lawyer here. I don't think it would violate the Constitution for the VP/Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment, but the intended constitutional remedy for this behavior is impeachment & removal. The fact that that remedy is politically impossible is a scandal and a crisis.
