This is what taking your indoor cats outside (in a controlled backyard) does for their wellbeing. After half an hour, Sophie felt so good she curled up into a ball and went to sleep amidst the songs from all the birds in the trees.

We have a postage sized backyard here in PA. My wife has transformed this from a rock strewn mess to a beautiful garden in a little under 5 years since we moved in. My contribution was the fountain and the greenhouse built of old windows and doors. The biggest winners are the cats.

We have three “cups” on sticks in our garden. I asked my wife what they were and she said, they’re there so bees can drink water from them. I was like oh, that’s cool. And in the back of my mind thinking there’s no way bees would drink out of those. Sorry honey, I should never doubt you.
