Reminded of this today: Years ago, I was stuck isolating in a hotel in America for a week, alone and really sick with COVID. Every commercial break on the TV promised me joy if I only had Taco Bell. Days passed and finally,able to eat again,I got a huge meal delivered…it was so disgusting, I cried.

Am I even travelling to another country if I’m not eating fruity mentos. Top travel sweets.

I have spent much of this afternoon being the character of ‘goblin from goblin land’, for the entertainment of my kid. Goblin’s voice has a hoarse, gruff kind of sound. Now drinking tea because my throat is scratchy and sore. 😂

It’s a rough day here. My kid is devastated Darby Allin won’t be at comic con anymore. Without sharing personal details, meeting his absolute favourite AEW wrestler was something for him to hold onto while things are super hard for him. Feeling let down is so difficult for him right now. 😞
