It doesn't get reiterated enough that "human on a bicycle" is not only the most efficient way that a person can move, it's the most efficient form of motion ***ever observed in land animals***.

Fuck it. Trans folks need MATERIAL SUPPORT.
@distributeaid.org
is launching an HRT Harm Reduction Toolkit that provides 1 year of medical supplies needed to take injection-based HRT. We were planning to go live in January, but I'm not waiting. Fund the kits here:

Your annual reminder that the Last Supper was not a Passover seder, Jesus’ experience of Passover was fundamentally different from ours, and if your church does a seder that’s gross cultural appropriation.

Being a billionaire in the United States feels basically identical whether you have $10B or $100B, but feels very different if you can sexually harass your au pair and she can quit and get a different job vs if she is desperate to keep her job and has to put up with it because the economy is shit.

This article is being blasted around the Fox News mediasphere to shame the chair of USA Fencing after a publicity stunt this week by an anti-trans fencer. I thought I'd share it too because it's actually awesome.

1. Incredible news for trans people in Montana. A Montana judge has temporarily blocked the state's bathroom ban targeting trans adults in airports, colleges, and more. He ruled that the state showed no evidence bathroom bans protect women. Subscribe to support our journalism.

I was stuck in a freezing cell without explanation despite eventually having lawyers and media attention. Yet, compared with others, I was lucky

Any time you see an article frame something as "took action against transgender sports," do more digging. 75% of the time, whatever they are talking about also bans trans people from bathrooms/medical care/targets trans adults. Sports is just a way to frame it as morally acceptable.

Musk’s status as a “special government employee” limits him to 130 days in the executive branch. However, despite working daily—documented by his own X posts—they claim he only works one day a week, effectively stretching his limit to 130 weeks. This needs to be brought to Congress—please share.

Always remember they're going after trans people not because trans people became too public, not because trans people asked for too much, not because trans people had too many genders, not because trans people were annoying online. They're going after trans people because they lost to gay people.

1. Media sources are widely reporting Trump's military ban has "a waiver" for trans people. It does not: It only applies to closeted trans people who have never transitioned and feel no dysphoria. The ban also forces people to resign or pay back benefits. Subscribe to support my journalism.

No, Trump's Trans Military Ban Does Not Have A "Waiver" For Openly Trans People Serving
The "waiver" being reported at many outlets for Trump's transgender ban is actually a "waiver" for people who have never transitioned, and are willing to stay closeted.
