The horrible bastards in Moygashel have unveiled this year's racist bonfire topper. The Arabic text at the top translates as "Islamic Fascism", which is ironic. For context the Muslim population in NI is estimated to be 12,000 (according to Belfast Islamic Centre) - c. 1/200 or just 0.6%.

In his book 'How to Launder Money', Posh George, the Farage aide at the heart of Reform's latest controversy, has a chapter on 'The Art of the Bribe' He and his co-author recommend small gifts (explainable as “a mistake of overexuberance in friendship”) and "Paying some of the target’s expenses”

This is a vile policy. Instead of helping refugees start a new life, integrate, & make a contribution, the government is sending them a loan repayment schedule. The asylum system is based on the care we feel towards other human beings beyond our borders. This policy makes mutual aid a contract.

Starmer's policy mix is just incoherent. Immigration policy is both immoral and economically damaging. But is it good politics? No, because your voters hate it and your rhetoric accepting Brexit is a mistake will limit your appeal to Reform voters.
