In response to reporter questions, the police officer says he can't confirm whether this was an intentional ambush of the police. On reports a manifesto was sent to media, the officer says there is information similar to this and they're currently investigating the motives.

One long gun used by the suspect was seized. Current situation: they're securing the location and checking to ensure there aren't other victims. They have NO INFORMATION to suggest there's another suspect. They're asking the public to stay away from the area.
