Cast myself as a villain? Would using my vast powers against the people trying to destroy me and mine truly be ‘villainy’? It would be a question I would keep asking myself over and over.

If you wouldn’t put a book about women by a man on display for Women’s History Month or a book by a white author about Black leadership up for Black History Month, don’t do that to us. (And if you would, holy hell, stop that immediately.)

Someone always chooses bad faith and splutters that we want representation and are we saying nondisabled people can never write disabled people and— Nope. Not at all. What we are saying is that this month is meant to be celebrating and pulling attention to actual disabled people.

The only, ONLY consideration with any validity imo is “maybe they aren’t open about it”. And that’s so valid. We live in a time where it is genuinely dangerous to be vulnerable. And. There are people out there doing it, and that visibility is what this month is for. Display it another time.

The nice thing about having outlived Reagan, Thatcher, Robertson, Popes, Dobson, Bryant, gosh just so many… is how you get better and better at celebrating the silence they leave in their wake. Seriously. Bring on McConnell! We can take naps if we need to rest between cheering and the parties.

Every game I loved playing on my iPad or iPod Touch is either (a) no longer supported or (b) riddled with "Watch this ad for a crystal or hyper-crystal or purple-poo-coin!" for in-game purchases that didn’t exist when it first came out. Pocket Planes was fun. Final Fantasy Crystal Defenders, too.

It’s possible I have just created a wee little Star Trek roll-and-write game. You explore a 5x5 sector over twenty-five turns, it uses the Challenge Dice from 1e #StarTrekAdventures, and it can work solo or with a group of people playing their own sectors and I think I’ve got a versus mode, too.
