Just seen that the magnificent Texan Joe Ely has died aged 78. I met him when he supported the Clash in the late 70s (the idiot punk crowds would bottle him offstage of course). A great songwriter and provider of one of the greatest album titles ever: Musta Notta Gotta Lotta.
