I miss Bradford Cox. The second Atlas Sound album is one of the best records of the new millennium. And Deerhunter are routinely brilliant. Been 6 years now. I hope the hiatus is near its end.

#NowPlaying I am so pleased to finally have this on vinyl. It really is a perfect album. I very nearly paid £100 for a 2021 RSD copy, so the news that it was getting another reissue was most welcome. It's a lovely pressing, too.

Hard to believe that Bobby Lennox earned only 10 caps for Scotland. At his peak, unquestionably one of the best strikers in Europe, feted as such by the likes of Bobby Charlton. Fewer internationals back then of course, but still seems ridiculous - Garry O’Connor and Stephen Thompson got 16 each.
