Here's a great postcard from Wolverton showing the Royal Train in 1897 for #MKMonday! We think this is the one that was newly created for Victoria's Diamond Jubilee.

Collections policies exist for a reason. We've had lots of people trying to give us documents, even when we've been at events across the county and have no way of safely taking the documents back to the archive. Sadly we have to turn these people away, but this is for the benefit of the documents.

Here's a fantastic cutting from a recent deposit! This is Julia Inglefield of Beaconsfield with some Belgian refugees from the First World War. Inglefield found employment for many Belgian lacemakers in the local community, later receiving an OBE for her efforts.
