Bowie myth-making: most of his schools were not in Brixton but Bromley. He "studied Art" at school, along with maths and English; he didn't go to art college. And I'm not sure many of his songs were written on beaches, which are in short supply in Beckenham. (h/t

I Am The Sixties is a wonderful documentary, I wish Pauline Boty had lived longer and been celebrated more in her lifetime Also, my friend Katie is in it and she is a wonderful artist too
