This is such awful news. Although Danny wasnt the star he always shouldve been, in chez Pople he was a huge 1. His 2012 solo Crybaby LP is a masterpiece; 1 of my favourite albums of the last 20yrs. I know there’s also much love for the 2018 Tracyanne & Danny LP in here - another classic. RIP Danny ❤️

So stage 1 of the whittling down process has ended. From an initial 87 albums vying for the 2025 Acoustic Egg Box Top 30 sadly 31 didn’t make the cut. Now the really tough task starts; discarding 26 albums that are firm favourites. I know what my Top 5 is it’s the other 25 that are problematic!
